Falling ice damages 2 vehicles, including Canada Post truck, in downtown Toronto
Toronto police say two vehicles, including a Canada Post truck, have been damaged after ice fell from a condo building in the downtown core.
A police spokesperson told Global News they received reports of the falling frozen daggers around 2 p.m. Friday in the area of Adelaide Street West and Widmer Street.
Currently, Widmer Street is closed between King Street West and just south of Adelaide Street.
Officers said no injuries have been reported but advise people to stay out of the area in the meantime.
